Approval Center History Sorting Bug – Project Server 2010

BY: Collin Quiring

We have run into this a number of times in the last year and so we are just documenting it here.  In Project Server 2010 in the Approval Center you can look at the History of the approvals that you have accepted or rejected.  And, sometimes you might want to sort that list by the Status column.

Unfortunately, there is a slight bug and the sort is actually the reverse of what you select.  So, if you select “Ascending” instead of getting the list from A to Z order, it is sorted from Z to A.  And, if you sort descending, instead of Z to A it sorts A to Z.

Just a heads up for those others that see this happening to them to show that this really is a bug.
