Certifications

There are two types of Certifications that we are proud of at EPM Strategy. We have organizational certifications that demonstrate the work and effort of the individuals that make up the EPM Strategy team and a second type of certification are the ones that individuals have put in the hard work and gained experience to obtain (such as the Project Management Professional – PMP – certification) The following is a list of some of the certifications.

 

Organizational Certifications

RCP

Registered Consultant Provider

The Project Management Institute (PMI) bestows the RCP to consultancies that are a professional consulting firm with knowledge and experience in the specialized area of assisting organizations to improve their practice of project, program and/or portfolio management. The areas these firms focus on also include the supporting environment and necessary leadership that enables projects and programs to accelerate the implementation of an organizations’ strategy and the achievement of business results. To become an RCP, an organization must have proven demonstration of consulting experience relevant to project management, adhere to the PMI RCP’s Code of Conduct and uphold the high standards that PMI has created to become and maintain the RCP.

Microsoft Power BI Partner

Microsoft gives the Power BI Partner designation to those organizations that have a proven track record and customer evidence about their ability to provide clients benefits with Power BI. The partner also has to submit a workable Solution Showcase and have individuals pass the Power BI certification exam.

Silver Project and Portfolio Management

Microsoft gives the Silver Project and Portfolio Management to organizations that have proven customer evidence and the appropriate certifications that shows the organization has provided solutions based on the products and technologies associated with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server, Project Online, Project Pro for Office 365 or any combination of these products.

Accelerating Implementation Methodology

CIRM

Certified in Integrated Resource Management

Individuals certified in CIRM have proven a broad understanding of critical management and operations functions. Individuals with CIRM have proven knowledge and abilities regarding cross-functional, integrative resource management with a understanding of the complete enterprise.

CPIM

Certified in Production and Inventory Management

The Association for Operations Management (APICS) Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) program provides individuals with the ability to understand and evaluate production and inventory activities within a company’s global operations.

MBA

Masters of Business Administration

The core courses in an MBA program cover various areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, and operations management in a manner most relevant to management analysis and strategy.

MBSS

Microsoft Certified Business Management Specialist

Achieving this certification demonstrates proficiency in one module of a Microsoft Dynamics or related business product.

MCNPS

Microsoft Certified Networking Product Specialist

Individuals who demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of at least one Microsoft operating system, and have passed the certification exams that prove their technical proficiency and expertise.

MCP

Microsoft Certified Professional

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is a certification that validates IT professional and developer technical expertise through rigorous, industry-proven, and industry-recognized exams. MCP exams cover a wide range of Microsoft products, technologies, and solutions.

MCPS

Microsoft Certified Product Specialist

Passing a Specialist exam demonstrates your experience and knowledge in a particular technology or skills area.

MCT

Microsoft Certified Trainer

Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs) are the premier technical and instructional experts in Microsoft technologies.

MCTS

Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist

A Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certification proves your skills on a particular Microsoft technology, such as the Windows operating system, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL Server, or Microsoft Visual Studio.

MS

Microsoft Specialist

The Microsoft Specialist certification validate your knowledge and skills in a specialized area of technology. Some Microsoft Specialist exams are included as requirements for Microsoft Partner Network competencies, which help distinguish your company from the rest in a particular technical discipline.

OPM3

Organizational Project Management Maturity Model

The Organizational Project Management Maturity Model or OPM3® is a globally recognized best-practice standard for assessing and developing capabilities in Portfolio Management, Program Management, and Project Management. It is published by the Project Management Institute (PMI). OPM3 provides a method for organizations to understand their Organizational Project Management processes and measure their capabilities in preparation for improvement. OPM3 then helps organizations develop the roadmap that the company will follow to improve performance

PMP

Project Management Professional

PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential is the most important industry-recognized certification for project managers. Globally recognized and demanded, the PMP® demonstrates the experience, education and competency to lead and direct projects.

SSGB

Six Sigma Green Belt

The Six Sigma Green Belt operates in support of or under the supervision of a Six Sigma Black Belt, analyzes and solves quality problems and is involved in quality improvement projects. A Green Belt is someone with at least three years of work experience who wants to demonstrate his or her knowledge of Six Sigma tools and processes.
